It's got some rough edges and encounters still, but at its core remains an ambitious game that delivers way more than falls short.

Shin Megami Tensei games are always about three things. Kill stuff, get money, and probably ruin the world based on your choices. This one does that remarkably well as long as you're not expecting a real solid narrative and world building. Probably also features one of Atlus' best soundtracks to date.

If you want to feel like a kid again with a large helping of vague sadness, this is it. The remaster/recreation jobs on the games are great (if you don't mind some lazy upscaling). The value you get in this package is pretty high.

I do have to emphasize that these games are best experienced with your heart, not your brain. No matter how cool or dumb these games can get, sit back and enjoy the ride if you can!!

This game is so cool. So much stuff to do and learn. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in anime fighting games in general. Just know this game doesn't feature rollback.

Locking the guy on the cover behind a 9 dollar dlc is insane though lmao.

*If you want the first Under Night, buy [cl-r].

Really cool with a lot of decision making and neat combos. The music by Raito is cracked. I usually let people buy whatever they want but if you want to learn the first game, it's best to buy [cl-r] since it has a proper tutorial and explains what all the made-up terms mean.

It's a pretty alright tag game. My main issue is the shocking lack of unique assets. Other tag fighters that use previously created assets at least make new stages, music, etc. but this one has very little. I'd be a little easier on the game if it didn't sell packs of pre-existing characters on top of this game. Anyways, it's pretty cool and has rollback.

*Buy this one

Finally, the BlazBlue. It's the best one, minus the lack of Eng Dub. It's also got rollback which is awesome.

*Yada yada buy CF

It may not seem as """confident""" as the previous games with characters getting weird changes, but this is still a lot of fun. Overdrive and guard crushes are cool, the new characters are cool, the game is cool.

*If you're gonna buy a BB game, buy Centralfiction.

The game is even cooler. More technical combos, characters, everything. Make sure to make time to seek out of watch the gag reels.
