This is the best VR Co-op dungeon crawler you could ever wish for, I highly recommend trying it, especially with friends.

Price is decent for the amount of content it offers but it's not a bad idea to wait for a discount.

New Gloom update completely killed my excitement to play the game.

The new enemies are unbalanced as ♥♥♥♥, terminid hordes are still spammed one after another because the cooldown between calling hordes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the hive lord is an impossible boss to beat because you need to juggle 20 bile titans, 30 chargers, 50 shriekers, and he has wide map range with his vomit attack.

There's performance problems inside and outside the caves, you need to REALLY plan to not die inside the caves or else you are not getting back your stuff.

Also, predator strain is still the worse subfaction you could go up against because it's an even worse spam, I found myself enjoying the inceneration corps with their one shot shotgun than this ♥♥♥♥.

Don't play on Diff 10, you're wasting your time.

After the recent update, the screenshots shown on the steam page do not reflect the gameplay change they had to do for the console port.
Instead of keeping 2 different versions, they decided to make a single universal one to piss off everyone and spit on the respect of the victims of these REAL crimes.

♥♥♥♥ the censorship and ♥♥♥♥ VOID interactive, this is a breach in EULA and on the respect of the community you built.

After trying the free weekend I can confidently say that this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game isn't worth 29€.

Here's the list:

- Online-only game that couldn't find my friends after inviting them for 30 minutes straight
- Weapon swings don't connect at all, even after the combat update
- Zombies are made of cement, they don't stagger after beating them to a pulp
- Objectives are kinda confusing, especially with a horde constantly on your back
- Random character selection with permadeath, this is the worst idea you could've chosen
- Changing binds is not clear, when you click it's not clear if it's selected or not

There's probably many other problems that need addressing, but this was enough for me to just close the game and uninstall.

Nothing like the original, very dissapointed.

A survival game that i've never seen on the market, it ticks every box of my favorite things in a game, it's got almost everything:

- Base Building
- Simple Resource Management
- Survival aspects
- Character creation (traits, customization, etc.)
- A beautiful, expansive map with clear objectives
- Intricate gameplay
- Mysterious lore

And the most beautiful ambience of an underground facility, i'd reccomend it ALL day.

Edit: DLCs are good looking aswell

Party Animals is an extremely fun experience, which was meant to be played with friends and family.

The game itself is gorgeous, the mechanics are simple enough to give you room to experiment your ways to knock people out, either with your own hands or weapons.

Maps are varied and fun, especially the new ones.

Now, if you're planning to try quick play, be wary of trash talkers, they don't have a good life to be having fun here, so they use their superiority complex to achieve nothing.

Remember, have fun and don't mind the losers who need attention in a literal party game.

It's been years since the first time I played Dark Descent and the whole Penumbra series. There was always something so particular that would bring me back to these games just to play them again and again.

Amnesia never deluded me, neither did this game.

The Bunker is a very original experience for me, hearing but not seeing the monster is a whole different scare.
Objective are simple, yet full of obstacles. There's a lot of incentive on decision making, like blowing up doors, finding an alternate route and avoiding traps or using them against the monster to buy time. This is honestly the highlight of the game, since it makes every playthrough unique with either objective's to complete and monster encounters.

First ever time I spent full price for a game, good job Frictional Games, you made my childhood scary and special, especially with Dark Descent.

Somehow this game is 10 steps backwards since Vermintide 2.

Yes, IT IS fun, but if fatshark doesn't get their fat ass off the couch and starts fixing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game as it was promised, it's not gonna hold up anymore

Don't buy it yet, wait for a better price (10€ or even 20€ if they even dare to put it that low)

go play something else
