DiRT 4 is an incredibly fun sim-cade rally racer that lets you choose between a more arcade-like experience, similar to DiRT 3, or a more simulation-like handling model. The only downsides to this game in 2025 are the fact that it is de-listed from Steam, and the fact that the online for this game, while still functional, is entirely devoid of players. Nobody plays this game anymore, and I find that sad. It's a good game that deserves a dedicated fan base. But this game is routinely ignored due to the DiRT Rally games being a better proposition for sim racers, and casual gamers are content with other titles. In short, if you can somehow play this game, whether through getting it in a family share or other methods, I'd highly recommend trying out everything this game has to offer.
