The vision of the Officer Cadet School (OCS) is to be a world class institution of training and education excellence that nurtures young men and women to be leaders dedicated in service of the SAF and the Nation. Officers who commissioned from this institute will be hardened by training, a gentleman and lady by virtue and relentless warfighters in battle. We are committed to develop confident, courageous and caring leaders that our Airmen, Sailors and Soldiers deserve.

For more than fifty years, we have enjoyed a peaceful and stable Singapore built on a strong and credible SAF. Even amid evolving threats and uncertainty such as the recent COVID-19 pandemic, SAF remains resilient and adaptable. As an officer, you will continue to be the core of SAF. You will join the many servicemen and women who have worked hard to safeguard this island and confront evolving challenges confidently. Membership to the Officer fraternity is not based on bloodlines, race or religion but grounded on a common set of values and beliefs that will anchor us as we become leaders in the SAF.

Through mission focused team-based exercises that are realistic, tough and safe, we will develop you to be competent, adaptable and operationally ready officers. As you herald the beginning of your journey as newly Commissioned Officers, you will be charged with the responsibility of leading men and women to defend the sovereignty of our country. It is an honour to be entrusted with this duty.
