For a long time I was looking for a platformer for my daugther, that would be forgiving and fun for her to play (something to mario but you know, newer and more forgiving). And I'm happy to say, that this is it.

This game was made for kids with different skills, as when you start up your save you get access to the difficulty scaling option, which is amazing for younger kids.

To simply put it - my kid loved to play demo version, and now she loves to play this game.
It's great, and definitely made with love! Worth the price tag :)

While the story is okay, the fights are enjoyable and the views are soo nice to look at....

....the amounts of bugs, especially in multiplayer, that force you to restart the game is just ridiculous. You thought Cyberpunk was badly optimized? Well, then DL2 beat them in that regard.

If you can wait for the game to go on sale and wait for a few months, maybe then they'll finally repair this game.

Game is everything I wanted it to be so far.

Saw few graphic glitches, but nothing game-breaking. No crashes, no bugs making the game unplayable. Playing the game on the 5 year old PC with GTX 970. No problem with performance, graphics etc. Game is installed on SSD.

Yeah, it's a game they promised so far. Hope the feelings won't change.

- IT HAS A FREE DEMO, I suggest checking it out regarding of what you see in the reviews. See for yourself and decide. Playing the demo made me sure I want the full game, and I don't regret it.

- Campaing lasts around 14 hours, and that's without rushing
- Decent story, with great vibes from other sci-fi (especially Dune)
- Battles are quite enjoyable, though after few chapter you can feel the repetition hitting you hard
- You start every chapter of the story from scratch, as every chapter is considered different run, it's quite good since you can't get screwed in chapter VI because of your decisions in chapter I.
- The amount of random encounters (especially the ones not being anomalies) is small, like really small. After first chapter you get to see a few of them on rotation constantly. You can see and feel it after while and finally it gets annoying. This may change with updates etc ofc.
- The difference between ships you can choose from is, in my opinion, not that big and beside getting achievements I see no reason to actually switch between them. The most notable difference is what auxillary you start with and what squadrons you have in your ship at the start. Beside that it felt rather meh.
-Story is decent, at some points predictable, and with some plot points that could've been used better. Still, you can see they really tried their best and the results were satisfying.

Those points above are only a few things that come to mind.

Overall this game is a decent game, worth of your time for chilling out.

Personally I think this game, in a state as it is, is a strong 7+/10 in my book. It could've been a lot better but it doesn't mean this game isn't something worth playing.

This game is one of thebest sandbox RPGs out there.
You can be anyone and do anything.....

....as long as it's highly illegal, but we know you'll do it anyway.

This game is one of those that you just can't get enough. I think that the changes, and updates and DLCs that are given to this game are on par with the CK2 updates and, to be fair, the fact that Paradox is even rehauling the entire parts of the game shows how much they care about their product and how much they care about the fanbase.

And, of course, you can purge filfthy Xenos.

Do you like games where you're not being held by hand?
Do you like games where you can go for 20 hours only to realize that you're only partially in the story?
Do you like games where you can fight hordes of enemies, feast your eyes on nice graphics and still have very good story?

I could go on and on like this. This game is amazing. I know one thing - I am happy that I decided to get this game, it's worth every single penny.

You either die a hero,

or live long enough to figure out you're probably the biggest a-hole in this entire place but who cares PRAISE THE SUN.

This is THE Game. You go in being happy filthy casual and you go out as MAN.
This is a MUST for anyone who loves the RPG genre.

Techland has learned a lot from their adventure with Dead Island. Dying Light is everything that Dead Island could have been and more. How many games can give you an ability to run from the hordes of zombies using parkour abilities? And on top of that, the night is a dangerous moment of the day to be out of your safehouse. Sure, when you get high level and good stuff you can survive it...maybe.
Volatiles, zombies of the night, are tough. And by that I mean TOUGH. You think your top level items can protect you? Yeah right. Before you even kill one, a swarm will appear. Not to mention you will be attacked by normal zombies.
"Yeah range them with guns" you say...But did you know, that anything that makes a sound will attract zombies to you? Yep, that's how it works in there.
Oh, and there's no hope. Only Dying Light.
