R.E.P.O. is actually a very layered take on the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.
It depicts you, the weird little Repo Men, struggling to survive in a failing economy, living paycheck to paycheck, but ultimately guaranteed to end up in a fight to the death between the working class (as depicted by the players). This fight at the end of every game of R.E.P.O. is organised by the Taxman, who represents the upper class, keeping the workers at each other's throats rather than opposing the real threat controlling them.
In Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, Marx and Friedrich Engels argue that capitalism depends on the bourgeoisie (the upper class; the Taxman) exploiting the proletariat (the working class; the Repo Men). In following communist theories - the only way to win in R.E.P.O. is to revolt against the Taxman and refuse to participate in his sick games, choosing to remain in one of the levels and establish a classless society. The monsters in the level will try to harm the new communist state, but if the people rally together and stop them peace CAN be achieved in the world of R.E.P.O.
In conclusion, the solution to economic depressions like the 2008 Global Financial Crisis is simply to overturn capitalism and commence communism.

The single WORST game Bethesda ever made - I will not be coming back to this game ever again it is complete garbage. That said, I did enjoy it and will be playing again soon, because I have yet to beat the main questline. To be honest, it's probably better than Fallout New Vegas - which is why I said Skyrim's the worst game Bethesda has made because Obsidian made than New Vegas trash. Skyrim has lots of mods. I prefer Starfield and Fallout 76, personally.

I enjoyed becoming Lightning McQueen and slurping that sleeping man!!! 10/10 would play again!!!

Lachlan thinks he's good at this game but he is not, its just an ULTRAKILL rip-off like all the other slop he plays. I tried telling the ULTRAKILL dev team about my friend Lachlan's issue, his strange addiction to these "slopcore" games, but they wouldn't listen. They just laughed it off, as if it were some "silly goofy joke". It wasn't a joke. My friend Lachlan... he has a serious problem. He calls it a love of gaming. I call it Thanatomania Ultrakillensis.
Recently, I received my PhD in Videogame Health & Safety. I saw all the warning signs. All the symptoms were visibly present... Ultrakillensis develops mostly in teenagers, but has been known to affect men into their 20s. Lachlan, he was a typical teen case of this.
I don't know what to do. Videogame Health & Safety is a developing field, and these are still the early days. I have attempted time after time to make him understand that he has a problem, but I think only a verified game developer can help him. Please direct me to the proper support forums.
