The simple fact that this game never once asked me to pick up literal garbage and make furniture out of it is enough to make this the best Fallout in nearly 15 years.

(There are other contributing elements, but that is the most important one.)

This game made my brain feel weird for like 11 straight days.

I'm not playing it right now, but I feel like in some corner of my mind, I might still be playing it. In that small, strange space, I might be playing it forever.

A lightning-quick, clever, and engaging interactive story that also just happened to hit so achingly close to home that I will be thinking wistfully back upon some very specific youthful regrets for far longer than it took me to actually complete the game.

5/5 would open old wounds again
