For a game that came out in 2010, the straightforwardness of the rules, the physics, and the gorgeous visuals all still hold up today, especially in 4K

Deviously hard. Another excellent addition to the "8-bit platformer throwback" collection.

Incredibly fun game with a very detailed, vibrant town to explore. Top notch story about dealing with growing up in your 20s, feeling the effects of the economy in a small town, and dealing with mental illness. It's obvious a lot of care was put into making Night in the Woods, every scene feels alive in its own way.

Impressively endearing coming of age psychological horror game about overcoming childhood trauma, solving paranormal injustices, and defining your own "normal" with the support of your found-family. More than worth the price. Warnings for gore, graphic traumatic experiences.

Extremely poor quality remaster. Couldn't play 20 minutes without game breaking glitches and slowdowns. At least it was free since I already owned the original Bioshock.

Who this game is for:
People who liked Saints Row 3 and 4, and wanted to experience another excellent story in the Saints Row universe.
People who wished for Saints Row to be more like GTA, in terms of a darker, less wacky story.
People who can put up with the fact that they have to use HACK TOOLS and MODS to get this game working out of the box.

If you answered yes to all three of the above questions, you may enjoy Saints Row 2.

Pros:
Serious and engaging story
Fun open world
Features many of the fun minigames from Saints Row 3 and 4, such as Trail Blazing, Insurance Fraud, and minigames not featured in the later series, such as driving a septic truck around spraying its contents on houses and people!

Cons:
Serious performance issues, even if you get the game's tuning hack just right
Serious audio issues (I believe some devs have offered to look into the issues when they've finished working on Saints Row 4 and 3 fixes and DLCs)

Not for the technologically inept!
