Beyond Galaxyland is an absolute treat of a game. The music, the art, and the gameplay all mesh well together to create a memorable experience as you traverse the galaxy.

Much of your time will be spent playing turn based battles with a handful of different characters that can be swapped freely. In these battles you are also rewarded for learning enemy attack patterns and blocking at the right time which makes the whole battle experience more engaging.

The storyline and quests are unique and varied which avoids the repetitive slop that I find so often in modern games. Puzzles and quests are straightforward enough that you can discover their solutions without outside help or frustration. You can really tell that this game is a labour of love and passion. And it thrives because of that.

I don't get how people can even enjoy this game. I liked just cause 3 a lot but had the most unenjoyable hour of my life playing this game. The absolute worst 360p prerendered cutscene into unfun jank gameplay that played like utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. If you can somehow enjoy this game I commend you

Very fun rogue-lite. Progression isn't super fast but it's a good game to chill and play. The time can feel stressful but you don't need to worry about it that much. You lose, you buy upgrades, you go again :)
