劇情滿滿Borderland的感覺, 喜歡玩Borderland的人買就對了~
角色沒有很重的等級影響, 所以新手朋友們隨時都能輕鬆加入~
廿多個角色增加了不少重玩性, 但角色平衡和Matchmaking問題還是有待改進...

關於Matchmaking問題:
如果把Steam Download Region設在我居住的香港... 是一場PVP也不會排到...
我暫時建議亞洲玩家把Steam Download Region設成US - New York, 這樣就會很快排到PVP遊戲

I am quite surprise there are such a large number of negative reviews in the first release day.
But in my opinion, this is absolutely an improved version of Magicka.

Improvements:
1) More Challenging Enemies - You can easily beat the original Magicka by spamming 4~5 combinations of spells. In Magicka 2, you can't. You must learn to use different spells to encounter different enemies.
2) Improved Mobility - You can cast spells while moving
3) Customizable loadout - After you've discovered a new Weapon/Staff, you can bring it to your next game/life.
4) Quick cast magick - Absolutely Great!! Manual cast is still there, with less cooldown than quick cast
5) Easier to get heal - You can get heal even you are with stone/ice armor
6) Improved gamepad control - Keybaord is still the best option for playing Magicka 2, but gamepad is also a good option for playing local co-op.

Cons:
1) Can't remap keybind (Dev is working on this)
2) Staff active ability is removed
3) Wards resistance effect is a bit too weak
4) Rock projectiles take too long to charge its power and travel distance

Opinions/Questions:
1) I don't think the removal of ice&steam elements is a huge drawback, you can still cast ice&steam with less input effort. However, It would be great if ice&steam spells can have more damage bonus.
2) What is the use of life wards? Can't heal and have no poison resistance...
3) instead of ice&steam wards, I think it is better to have WaterCold&WaterFire wards.

現在的遊戲普遍都太容易玩了... 破了關也沒有什麼感覺~
如果你想要無比的破關成就感的話, 這是其中一隻我會推薦的遊戲!!
當你第一次破關這遊戲時, 我保證你會有到很強烈的成就感!!
重玩性很高!! 不同角色有不同的玩法~ 還可以和朋友CO-OP互相配合~
所以 即使你破關了一次, 我相信你也一定會用其他角色再去挑戰多好幾回~

I am happy to pay 2.99 if this game is in beta state, but as a released game, 100% no.

First gameplay was a disaster:
- each time you load the server list, the whole game will be frozen for at least 5mins.
- no server ping info for you to choose the best server to join.
- you are in spectator mode once you join a server, but there is no msg telling you when you can start your game. (spectatored for 5mins before my first spawn)
- the game will show you two buttons once you are dead. If you click the left button quickly, you will be back to the frozen server list again. (The death msg is like a Yes/NO msg box, therefore I miss-clicked the left button twice. It takes me 10+ mins to re-enter and respawn)
- after played for 1hrs, my friend and I suddenly disconnected from the server without any alert and the game were frozen.

In-game graphics and gameplay seems fine, but this is not an enjoyable game because of the above issues.
(I may change my review, If these issues are fixed.)
