Honestly, a year ago this platform was enjoyable. It was good. Fast foward to today, it's awful. The platform itself is amazing, but the community in esea is toxic. Almost everyone has an inflated ego, puggers don't have a brain, and people in league think they are actually better than everyone else. The staff are also awful. Admins are biased and selfish. All they want is money. The best part now as well is since Faceit[www.faceit.com] has taken their playbase, its become apparent how hard esea is trying to stay relevant. Between the staff who killed the platform, the double charges on subscriptions multiple users received, and the toxic community, ESEA is just a shadow of what it once was. Now you can see ESEA desperately trying to stay in the scene, by paying players to play its platform, inflating the numbers of their online and in-game members, and the increase in staff activity, it has become apparent that they are desperate. Even with that being done, staff still manage to kill their platform by breaking their own rules and using bias. A lot of times now you can see staff join a pug or league, and ban someone without a warning or anything. They just get a report, don't look for evidence, and just punish, whether the report is false or not. Seen it happen to a lot of people, myself included. The only thing keeping ESEA alive right now is League, and if we're being real, MDL is all that's keeping it alive. I recommend Faceit for any users looking for a pug scenario. The community it better, Admins are more laid back, and there isn't anything shady going on behind the scenes. They work to make the experience the best for their users, something ESEA tried to do when it was too late.
