Yeah, it had issues. Yeah, it can get repetitive. But I would be lying if I don't enjoy the game, even now. The gameplay is great, the character progression is fun, and even with multiple play-throughs I still can't get enough.

Just get it. It ain't that bad.

Are you tired of stress inducing horror games that give you nightmares? Has constantly analyzing charts and statistic for damage outputs in Open World RPG's made your eyes hurt and your brain feel like mush? Is the outside world still making you scowl at the very thought of going out and taking a walk? Then this game is for you.

Simple and easy. You're there to clean up ♥♥♥♥ that some dude left behind. You have music, you have your mop, and you have your bucket. Get to work, relax and take your time to do the simply job of cleaning up the gore, while trying to not let the slow creeping of existential dread sneak up on you.

10/10, would play again.

Early Access Review
Haven't played this game as much as I wanted, but here are the things I think about it so far.

The game has great controls, the movement is on point for a realistic feel. Sprinting isn't unlimited, but it isn't too short which, again, gives a sense of realism as nobody is able to run at full speed indefinitely. Tanks are NOT overpowered if a competent team goes against one. Teamplay is not only rewarding and fun, but beneficial in every way, and it's only going to get better if multiple squads are able to coordinate. The servers themselves are solid and friendly, people generally take the time to teach new players how to play the game better, and with the many guilds/clans around it's not hard finding a place that suits you. In my opinion the game is totally worth the money, and if you haven't played Squad before, I would suggest you either start as a regular rifleman or a medic to learn the basics of the game, then move on to more advanced roles.

8.5/10. Only because there are no helicopters, which will probably change in the future seeing as the devs are always working on the game itself.

P.S. Not everyone is fit to be a squad leader, so if you find a competent SL, cut him some slack and follow orders, this game has way too many incompetent leaders that know nothing about squad tactics or teamwork.

Just going to be straight regarding this game.

If you have ANY doubts about it, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forget them. This game is great. Buy it. Play it and become addicted like all of the other suckers, myself included, have become.

Right, I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm not good at reviewing, but I figured I might as well give it a shot.

This is a top-down, co-op shooter with a whole lot of com- I mean, Democracy, weapons and even more silliness.

"What do you mean silliness?" you might shout out. Well, let me put it as simple as possible using a very simple technique:

4 untrained idiots + high tech weapons and armor + Droppable vehicles from tanks to mannable robots + Aliens + a whole lotta democracy.

= The biggest f*** fest I have ever seen.

You drop down, and the first thing any experienced diver does, it get whatever he needs to be prepared for the mission ahead. If all things go smoothly, everyone gets their stuff and they hop along merrily. But let's assume this is the worst case scenario.

You all drop down, just in time to have three patrols walking in on you as you exit your pods. You instantly get spotted, and thinking you have time, you call in your pod of equipment anyway. It seems to be going well, as the team have done the same and have started fighting back, things seem well. Until a pod kills two of your team mates at once, causing the third team mate to panick and get taken down by an unseen terror with tenticles the size of Hitler's railway cannon.

All of a sudden, you realize that the sh*t that is the alien enemy has now reached your waist, and you must think quickly. The first thing that comes to mind is to call in a beacon to call down your friends, so you run, leaving behind mechs, APC's and other usefull tools. You think you're in the clear, but instead of finding the brief pause you need to call back your friends, some lanky ass bug spits goo into your face, and you get devoures by what you swear was a giant pillbug.

This is basically just one of the SIMPLE ways this game can go from a "Dive in the park" to "Oh my god I'm not getting paid enough for this".

The game itself is amazing, and to maximize this, get some friends in on it. I have no comment for the DLC, sure it has some cool stuff, but most of it is cosmetic, I got it anyways because wtfn?

Buy it, you'll appreciate the f*ckery you get into while playing this game with both friends and randoms.

Played this game a couple of times, and I have to say, after catching the workings of the game I truly wished I could buy it myself.
A game truly worth trying out if you like strategy based games and managing armies/large populations.
