cant get l4d 2 (beta) or l4d 2 beta to run in ubuntu.

I reinstalled windows, with a duel boot to linux, and I have to redownload all my steam games on this hard drive. I will have left4dead back up soon, with the mods.

no problem, i joined because i also feel that civ v is getting worse instead of getting better, because for only like a few new features they are charging it as an expansion !!!!
and the optimization is also ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, the game ran like an ass in my pc, even tough the graphic is not that much better.

most of my games were bought at sale prices, so the games total was average less than five to ten dollars each. Many games came in bundle deals also. So I spent .... no more than $200. For this many games, that is a good deal. I have yet to play them all though.

Help needed: overclocking my hp pavilion dv7 laptop
I want to go from 2.1 ghz ---> +/- 2.5 ghz a realtively safe level.

However, hp BIOS does not have an access motherboard feature, so I currently can't overclock.
