it's rough. gods. but it's also good. and for some reason, free?

please mind the content warnings. Malcatras' Maiden is a game for adult audiences only. This work contains intense themes of toxic relationships, manipulation, child abuse, regular abuse, dubiously consensual sexual acts, incestuous themes and explicit bloody acts of heavy violence, including death and murder.

that in mind, (and that the fact that this is a visual book, no choices or anything)... jump in. i can't guarantee you'll have a good time, but you will certainly have a time.

Made me feel like ♥♥♥♥, but so does (being repeatedly denied) trans healthcare, so at least it's realistic. Strong content warning for high levels of transphobia. Again, realistic, unfortunately. What most miss i think is that the views of the therapist are definitely not the views of the creator. Still, only play this if you think you are ready and/or really need it.

You know what. This was good. I didn't appreciate it when playing as i only wanted something brainless to do while listening to something. But this good. Too good to waste it like that.

it's a cool idea, hiding text on the first playthrough and changing meanings because of that.

also has one of the best jokes i have seen in a while. kind of easy to miss but i don't want to spoil it. has to do with the name though

not much i would change. a really solid queer visual novel. had a fun hour spent with it.
