Theres so much randomness happening on the server in CS2, due to sub-tick, that the results of who wins duels are much more a 50/50 rather than the result of who has the most skills.
As a result the ranks and people's actual skill levels are all over the place.

Cheating is still a problem on Valve servers and peekers advantage is still insane making it hard to hold angles.

Some improvements like spraying at medium to long range have made the game slightly more playable but overall it's still ♥♥♥♥.
