A true roguelike with a lot of passion poured into it. I love how the dev tries to eliminate mechanics that promote tedium/grinding. For a tile based game, the animations are absolutely gorgeous.

I was hoping to get that Gothic 3 feel out of it, but it just didn't happen. I was expecting open world, but you're just lead through some zones with gates in between where you can't return to the old one.

In the end, combat is just too infuriating. The stabbing mechanics are rather dull and at some points in the story you just HAVE to fight groups of enemies that are way too tough for your power.

Brilliant shooty fun, though the levels are not as random as I'd wish. But the unlockable loot makes me play it over and over again <3
