Fallout: New Vegas is the sequel to Fallouts 1-3, taking place in the Mojave Desert of Nevada. Using Fallout 3's signature 3D world and improving upon it with much better details in both gameplay and graphics, it's a must-buy for fans of the series.

For those unfamiliar, the game uses a hybrid FPS/RPG combat and gameplay system where you gain experience and level up specific skills to better survive in the harsh deserts surrounding the Neo-Vintage "New Vegas". The V.A.T.S. system allows players to essentially stop and take control of a fight by targetting specific enemies and their body parts to tactically operate like Terminator (not the sequels though, those sucked).

With impressive DLC (save for Dead Money in my opinion) it takes replayability to a whole new level.

Brought to us on Steam by the glorious development teams of both Platinum (Of Bayonetta fame) and Koji-Pro (MGS Series), it's a hack and slash of the highest intensity with a godly soundtrack, intense non-stop action, that is both easy to play and hard to master. Platinum Games brings it's own flavor with their absurd humor and action and tight controls that makes this title intensely short but with high replayability.

A defenite buy of any self-respecting Metal Gear fan with a penchant for action and a good sense of humor.

It's like CS:S but less ♥♥♥♥ and prettier now. Tazer pisses of pubbies which I enjoy.

You say Duke Nukem, I say Serious Sam. It's like the good ol' days of arcade shoot 'em ups but with half the hassle of having to sit through gratuitous amounts of unfunny jokes. Pick it up, you plebe.

Adam Jensen is this guy who works for this company that makes bio-mechanical enhancements and in the line of duty, gets beat up and rebuilt as Robocop with neat shades. Now, he gets pulled into this massive conspiracy to destroy all the "augmentation" companies while punching out ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and helping ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with problems they can't solve on their own. Has neat gameplay elements like sneaking that remind me of a refined Metal Gear Solid, but I wish I could carry more stuff because it uses the 'cache" and "block" style storage mechanism that RE4 and STALKER had. Buy it if you're a big fan of spy and thriller games.

SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

If you don't already own Spiral Knights, it's never a bad time to install it. It's like most generic RPGs, but with an added layer of fun. Your "Knight" "crashlands" on a "planet" and you begin your adventure by spelunking the various levels, all the while collecting and "alchemizing" or buying better items. The fun of it comes from the near-endless playability since you can play as long as you want for any given session, but only if you have enough "energy" since you "pay" to spelunk. It's fun to play with friends (and even alone), but since it comes down to taste, it might actually leave a bad one in your mouth if you don't like semi-childish action-adventure role-playing multiplayer games.

I played this game for years before I realized that I can't put "MLG TF2 Medic/Engie Main" on my resume.

I have since then obtained a degree, found a stable six-figure job, and discovered that I quit before the game went to ♥♥♥♥ thanks to bots and a dismissive developer. I consider myself lucky, and a testament to what can happen if you quit a game at the right time for the right reasons.

So we have the sad tale of a young girl who must pay back the debt from her loser father and inherits a shop alongside a fairy who works for a finance company. Sounds about right. An interesting story with a lot of quirky characters, you can get right into playing with ease. The gameplay is pretty stale, since the most you'll ever do is buy, sell, and spelunk in a dungeon or two, but it's worth the buy if you think you like anime-styled shop simulators and dungeon crawlers. While a little repetitive, the challenge lies in whether you'll make your deadlines, or get stuck in a box.
