I played Contract Wars since 2014/2015, and while not perfect, it was more fun than what we have here now on steam. It's almost comical how things can be so similar yet feel overall so different. I bought this game back when it cost money to buy, even though the browser version was F2P (albeit a bit P2W). It just feels like a soulless husk of what once was. I have no interest in playing Escape from Tarkov and the 'CW Client' that allowed playing a non-browser version of the original C.W. , triggered an AV positive in two of the DLLs that were installed in the program files root folder. Everything that's happened in the history of HO, EFT, and CW together is enough for me to just say to myself: It's time to step back, wash my hands of it all and be on my way.

I don't recommend this to anyone looking for their next PvP shooter. There's other games that are better supported and more fun.

First of all, I should have reviewed this piece of crap long ago, I guess this is just the straw that broke the camel's back. It's not a good bioshock game, at all. It's a halfway decent shooter, and the powers are still fun, but the story sucks, and they changed it so you only can hold 2 guns at a time and put in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gear system with random gear drops so you can't even set up a proper build based around what you like doing until mid - late game if you're unlucky, and the skyrail system breaks the game balance. Handymen are also just worse Big Daddies. Way worse. They dumbed down this game so much and I have no idea why other than the fact Ken Levine has publicly admitted to the fact that he enjoys being made to feel retarded.
And now we have to most recent update, which they had the audacity to call a Quality of Life update, where they added a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher that wasn't needed, so you can have the option of going to a store and spending money on something which people don't want. Incredible. Don't buy this game. Stick to Bioshock 1 & 2, they're much better.

Pretty decent, it's a Far Cry game. The buzzard is a welcome addition, but there are no more plant entries in the handbook and there are more minor positives and negatives like these. Gunplay is pretty meh compared to other games but the story is serviceable and Pagan Min is a stellar "villain". You'll know what I mean if you play the game. Thankfully, you *can* kill both heads of the Golden Path in the end. Fly your blood flag atop the burning pile of sh** left behind.

The entry where Far Cry upped the production value and really found itself as a series. Now, whether or not you enjoy the game loop of Far Cry is up to you personally, but for most people, this game will be just fine. The systems hold up okay, the story and characters are enjoyable (but not especially amazing). Gunplay is fine, crafting is simple but effective, the game is nice to look at. You can't really go wrong with it, other than a few crashes here and there.
