I really enjoy the puzzle aspect of this game, trying to figure out paths when I can't cross the streams (at least in the beginning before you research the tech). Keeping a single run to about 25 years in game keeps me focused on a goal and is a great way to keep me from playing too late on a work night. It's challenging without being impossible, and a new player can learn the basics pretty quickly and get in some fun right off the bat, while gradually learning all the nuances over time.
