The fact that this was developed so hastily shows that paradox needs to take their time with these expansions instead of forcing junk out that retroactively breaks almost every previous DLC. Paradox needs to playtest and listen to the community instead of what seems like meeting quotas for DLC in a year.

this is the best game ever

The bug fixes are incredible such as units not overriding construction with accidentally clicking them, but this is not from the DLC. Do you want to play in South America? If so, get this on sale. All the benefits of this patch are free, so this is not necessary. It's a flavor pack which includes: Nation 1, conquer the continent. Nation 2, conquer the continent. Nation 3, conquer the continent. Nations 4 and 5 for the AI to never get involved in anything.

Fun, but water is insanely laggy and it's really easy to go overboard leading to many annoying issues

if you like big red numbers and staring at the decisions tab, this is the expansion for you

It's playable

The DLC is alright, some bits are pretty rough but the gameplay is the same as it was in base teardown, which I found pretty fun.
The horses are great and control well, the setting is nice, and they really wanted it to be good.
But you're paying $8 for an expansion pack with weapons you cant use outside of it with fun mechanics you can't spawn and roam around three small maps with not too many valuables to find.

Overall wait for it to go on sale and give it a few months when they hopefully fix things up
