I enjoyed playing this game quite a bit.

TL:DR. Buy this game if you're looking for a nice solo play game that scratches that RPG itch without sucking the life out of you.

It was addictive, quirky, interactive, and fun! I liked the following features:

1) When you're done talking to a NPC, it'll let you know. I think this allows for an immersive environment. I was able to know if someone was going to say something different from my last encounter with them, or I can just pass by them. Each "chapter" allowed an opportunity for the world to expand a little more. The future is 5 minute pizza delivery!

2) The encounter rate system. I plan on testing this a bit more, but, the game allows you to just explore without encounters, until you're ready. You can have that traditional JRPG feel of wandering in a dungeon, get random encounters, crank it up to 11 and have every hacker at your every footstep, or cruise down the streets without a care in the world about encounters. I plan on running through this again with a mix of the different encounter rates.

3) The battle system. Rock, Paper, Scissor....Bazooka? I like that each enemy had their own weakness/strength, and it would be exploited. It was fun to test out different abilities to see what was weak to what while also leveling up my skills.

4) Leveling up your skill. Use them, level them up, MOAR POWUH!

5) The environment. It was fun to stroll around the slums and talk to people. There are side-quests to be had, and the provide decent reward. It was colorful, imaginative, and felt like it could be a real place.
