Every bit as good as the first. The maps are much larger, in general, and have a lot more to explore. I highly recommend!

Like any other new game, Ark had its problems. The hike up to $60 was a ballsy move, as was releasing a P2P DLC before the offical release of the game. I have to say, though, the game has come a long way. Even on Medium graphics, the game is stunning. The Ragnarok DLC (free) is amazing. I am looking to get the Season Pass soon. As long as the devs keep putting this effort in, the game is going to be incredible

This game is the perfect mix of Blood Money and Absolution. So many fun ways to complete missions! I love the alternate missions for the different locations.

This game follows a specific storyline and is not like Hitman: Blood Money in terms of game play. Personally, I prefered Blood Money's contract-eske game style where I was able to choose my weaponry prior to starting a mission. Absoultion is more "realistic" in that your gear carries over through a story arc.

This game is great - the graphics are phenominal and there are a lot of really fun "easter eggs" around that you can find. I love Hitman games for a sneaky challenge, or to crank the difficulty all the way down to "easy" and blow through waves of enemies (and civilians) ;)

It's a pretty toxic community in general, but everyone knows that. Everyone shoots to kill on sight and will go out of his/her way to hunt you down after you weakly limp away, then destroy your base and kill everyone you love while you watch hopelessly as you slowly bleed out on the ground, screaming in bloody terror. The last words you hear will be "cyka blat" as the darkness overtakes you.

If you can't establish yourself quickly, you're gonna have a bad time. Also if you're alone, also if you establish yourself really well and people find you, also...

This is part of the appeal, in some ways, and part of the reason you punch a hole in your monitor because screaming "I'M FRIENDLY DONT SHOOT" doesn't stop the blood thirsty savages from chasing you until you give up from running so much and they turn you into a human shishkabob. It's a rite of passage.

Wiping out Native Americans and killing infidels never felt so good.

Update 10/29/16:
Since the recent updates, the game has made a LOT of positive changes. After all of the bug fixes regarding chests, the different tiers of items, and the trees (that I complained about in the below review) have gone back to look like actual trees! This game is fantastic now and really feels the way it did before the developers tried to get too fancy. The community is SO much nicer than in Rust or even ARK, so if you want a chill, fun zombie environment, get this game!

Previous Reviews:
I have played this game on and off for over a while now. I usually try to get a little bit of time in after each major update, but I find myself missing the version around Alpha 8 and stopping. The building mechanics are great, but I frequently have issues with my chests not opening and zombies spawning inside of my actual house. The graphics have immensly improved, but I still find myself yearning for the cartoony/simplistic trees of pre-Alpha 10.

Between PvP and PvE servers, you can really find anything you're looking for. I did love this game for the majority of my play time, but I just strongly preferred the original version. I feel like the developers are trying really hard to keep the game current, but it seems that with every step forward they take two steps back.

I do recommend this game! I just, personally, am no longer the fan I once was.
