Mild spooks, the decay and dread feel lovely in the monochrome setting. Soundtrack haunts. I'm sure I'll be left in my feels by the end.

This game is made out to be far more controversial than it actually is. If Doki Doki Literature Club is a game, Depression Quest is just as much of one. It's a narrative/allegory encased within a choose-your-own adventure visual novel. It's also short. If that's not your jam, understand that there are people out there without mental illness who might learn something from experiencing it.
