This product is a glorified gambling casino, and I CANNOT consciously recommend it knowing that Valve is ACTIVELY exploiting underage children just to make a quick buck. Coffeezilla made a couple of videos on this subject—go check them out: https://youtu.be/13eiDhuvM6Y?si=FYQd2EsI5bxub95Y

First off, let’s start with the price: this game is free, which means anyone can redeem it, own it, and play it—even underage kids. The whole game revolves around case openings and cosmetic trading (a.k.a. "skins"), which hold real value in the Steam community market. You can sell these skins to receive Steam credit and use it to buy games or even a Steam Deck.

A case costs around €1.50. You can get one for free by leveling up your in-game experience or playing every week—but only if you purchase a €15 premium pass that allows you to participate in "competitive" matches (more on that later). To open these boxes, you need to buy an additional key, which costs €2.50. Once you open the case, you will see—and I’m not kidding—a roulette wheel spinning with a ticking sound that makes the experience more addictive and engaging, showing you which cosmetic you will receive. The prizes you win usually won’t reimburse the cost of the case-opening experience: most of the time, the game gives you a 10-cent cosmetic that you can sell for half the price on the market, netting you a mere 3 cents of profit—if you can even call it that. Valuable skins are extremely rare.

There’s no ID verification process for this entire system. This means that children can buy, open, and sell cases or skins on the Steam market. Since they cannot technically cash out the money they make from selling items on Steam, this is considered "not gambling." Valve is exploiting a loophole in legislation to target children and profit from them. Everything else—the "gameplay"—is just window dressing to disguise this as an actual game.

The competitive aspect of this "game" is a complete joke. There is no effective anti-cheat system, and the matchmaking algorithm is laughable. If you have friends, you might occasionally have some fun and stand a chance. Otherwise, you’ll constantly face full teams while you're stuck with random players who don’t communicate—or worse, players who shout slurs and use the N-word. The game rewards people with low ping or cheats because—surprise, SURPRISE—there’s virtually no anti-cheat system. You’ll frequently encounter players spin-botting or firing five sniper shots in one second. Don’t believe me? Watch any high-rank CS2 streamer: you can’t play a high-ELO tier game without running into at least one cheater. Reporting them is almost useless—it’s extremely rare for anyone to get banned. Adding to this is the issue of developers forgetting to disable debug features after updates, which has allowed players to discover in-game commands that grant access to developer tools—essentially wall hacks that let you see enemies through walls.

The gameplay itself (I refuse to call this a game) is atrocious. It feels slow and unresponsive. If you get hit, you’re "teleported" back by a few inches, messing up your aim and crosshair positioning. Enemies feel like bullet sponges, taking forever to kill, while you can get one-tapped—even with full armor—from two miles away by a pistol. The game heavily favors players with lower ping. You’ll often see people with 8–9 ping one-shotting you through a wall, even though they don’t appear on your screen.

Matchmaking is absurd, as it’s not based on skill but rather points and randomness. For instance, if you have 10k ELO, you could easily end up playing with 3k ELO players. The map variety is non-existent: there are only seven maps to choose from, and that’s it.

In terms of content and updates, there’s nothing new. The only updates this game receives are security patches and bug fixes. Ironically, the only "content" it has to offer is cosmetics.

The whole game is a mess. There’s no variety—same maps, same weapons—all compounded by the technical issues I’ve mentioned. This product is a glorified gambling casino, and I CANNOT consciously recommend it.
