If you plan on playing on a decent PC, do not buy this game! Wait for humble bundle to sell the original at a discount, or trade around for a complete pack.

The weapon balance that is advertized throws everything at you at once, pets included.

There are no private rooms or lobbies where friends can meet up and chat, rather you'll have to deal with the one main public lobby everytime you want to play.

There is no offline mode.

Private games are automatically timed out after the final wave.

About the only change that I can say I like is that survival is now time based. Other than that, this version is inferior in every way compared to the original. Let's not forget the CASH SHOP that sells you taunt animations and disposable bombs for real world money.

This is scummy, and has left an impression on me. I regret spending $6 on this poor port of a game that I love.

Take a caserol dish and start with a base of Diablo.
Next, mix in a side of steampunk.
Preheat your processor to 375 and season lightly with your favorite addictive substance.
Place in cart and play for 450 hours.
Serve warm over voicechat. Enjoy.

This game is designed as a single-player venture, but is an absolute blast with friends. Leveling, exploring, and upgrading gear all has an exciting and addictive quality to them. This is one fo the most fulfilling and engrousing RPG experiences I have played in a long time.

Unreal Quake-tress 2: Gold Edition

Worth checking out if dressing up virtual dolls, (in the literal sense), is your thing and you want to have fun shooting things up. The shooting is actually satisfying in this game, especially the Rocket Launcher and the Shotgun, but every weapon feels good in it's own right.

Be warned, as the game is filled with some pretty bad maps that encourage sniper nests and spawn-camping. The best maps I've found are the smaller maps, with the exception of the truck level.

Also of note, it took me nearly 24 hours game-time to earn enough points to keep a permanent outfit on my character. That's WITH the Steam starter pack items which boosts your MP intake considerably.

The chief thing that people are afraid of when they hear about this game is pay-to-win. It's there, but it's not quite as bad as you would think. Nonono, hackers and glitch abusers are in far greater abundance than full sets of premium items and make a far greater impact.

As a standalone game, it's a fun and effecitve introduction to the card game; games are faster paced and more balanced than the preceding installment with more diversity in playstyles between decks.

As a simulation to the actual game, it's pieced together suprisingly well; advanced mechanics and techniques that weren't built into the previous game are actually possible now. Decks in the game also have 40 unlockable cards, making great diversity even among similar decks possible as each deck can have multiple strategies present.

It still feels a bit like a bad console port, but it seems that bugs found in the game are being handled and fixed at a much better rate than the previous planeswalkers games.

A seriously twisted rougelike game in the same gameplay elements of Legend of Zelda but with...lore all it's own.

It controls well, looks and sounds great, and is engaging and challenging as well as...riveting.

You'll laugh, you'll cringe, you'll swear, and you might even throw up.

Buy this game and play it.

I'm serious; stop reading this and play it already.

Why are you still reading this and not playing this wonderful game?

Buy it, download it, and prepare to be blown away.

As a game, it's a wonderful recreation of the card game that it represents. The AI is competent, the online support is excellent, and the system of unlocking cards gives motivation to play through the game multiple times.

As a Magic the Gathering simulator, it's bland, predictable, and limited. Customization falls flat in that you can't tear down individual decks or even alter the mana balance of the decks beyond what's placed in the deck as card count increases.

It's worth the $10, but not much beyond that. It's good for a promotional card if you're into the current tourney scene.

Good humor, great voicework, and a decent poker game to boot. If you like snarky remarks and mean-spirited humor, then you'll like this game.

There's also the Team Fortress collectibles as well, but you'll need plenty of luck along with skill. They don't make it easy on you.

A decent platformer that presents a vast multitude of randomly generated worlds to explore, tame, and conquere.

The early-game difficulty might be a turn-off for some players, but the variety and creativity offered late-game more than makes up for it for those that stick it out, (or those that get friends to help them).

A surprisingly fun and exciting game that can lead to a lapse in both judgement and time while playing. Well worth the money and time.

Even without being proficient in FPS games, it's easy to get into this and learn the ropes enough to have fun while playing without being COMPLETELY shut down.

"The greatest war-time hat wearing simulator!"
