When you liked "My time at portia" you will LOVE "My time at sandrock".

After 75h into the game, I can only praise it in every aspect. The developers took everything that was great in portia, ported it to sandrock and improved on it. The game is just pure fun and it sucked me in like a match of civilization but instead of just one more round it was, just one more day and all of the sudden you played for 5h+.

I haven't enjoyed a game that much in a long time.
Despite the game having so many quests to do, I hope that we will get DLC's in the future because I'm hungry for more.

The only real issue I had with the game was, which character to romance. I liked so many of the characters that the choice was more than hard.

Thanks dev team for creating such a wonderful game.

Never was I so terrified in my life... to loose a ghost.
Makes me want to have a ghost roommate too, when she is that cute.

All in all a sweet game that lets you feel the pressure of a haunting ghost and lets you say "awww thats so adoarble" at the same time. I finished it in around 2h and I had my fun with it. It even warmed my icy cold heart.

I enjoyed the game a lot, the gameplay is fun, the graphics look good and I had nearly no bugs. I can't wait for more content.

Its a really sweet experience. The visuals are nice and the game gives you this feeling of being at home, the same feeling you got when I was a kid visiting my grandparents. Its not long and with this price a really good game for a rainy Sunday.

I can't wait to see more games from this developer.

After 13h I have unlocked every mission. For the 23$ thats a good price for the value you get. In these 13h I had only one bug and one crash, for the rest of the time the game worked withouit problems.

pro:
- the graphics are good
- when you don't want to play with people you have 3 AI buddies
- the game mechanics work well
- it has a good fire spreading mechanic
- items like windows and doors are destructible

con:
- the missions are repeatable because you only do three things, fight fire, find fuse box and maybe rescue someone
- there is sadly no free roam option for the moment, only missions
- only 5 vehicles

my personal opinion:
I had fun with the game so far and I really hope that they will release more missions, different missions, new mechanics and free roam so you can spend some time in the fire house.
What I wish is that they add car accidents, medical incidences, people just trapped, gas leaking, roof venting and more. Just a good variety of missions. I had to use the saw in only two missions, that is a bit disappointing, But for 23$ you get a solid game that you can play with 3 other friends.
Is this game a real realistic simulator? I would say its the best you can get at the moment but its on the same level as farming simulator. Not quite realistic but fun.

I had a lot of fun playing this game. The graphics aren't as good as other modern games but the story and the characters are interesting enough to let you keep on going. The story can be brutal in some moments and shows how much trash we humans can be, so be prepared of a roller coaster ride. After 18h I was done with the full game and the epilogue. What is in my opinion a good playtime for a full price game. The game is not an open world title, its linear but thats fine because you have smaller levels and you don't need to search that much to complete them. There is backtracking, quite a bit of it but the surroundings change every time you visit so you explore them again and again to not miss any detail, chance or collectible.

This game is not for everyone because it has this charm that you get from a lot of PS2 era Japanese games. I would say try out the Demo and when you enjoy that buy the game.

Would I recommand this game?
For fans of fire fighting simulators yes BUT be aware its still an early access game through and through.

For people that just want to play a casual game, I would say wait a year or two.

I bought this game quite a while ago and I was disappointed. The only thing you could do back then was driving around in the trucks. I wanted to refund the game but then they released a new update where they added new features. It was buggy as hell but it showed huge potential.

So I decided to keep the game. The developer team is small but they want a lot. They work on this game and try to improve and to add new features at the same time. These features are sometimes buggy but they keep on fixing things,
The game runs a lot smoother than a year ago, fire fighting actually works now and even the EMS system is in the game.

YES it can be buggy still.
YES some features are missing and sometimes they don't work as intended.
BUT they aren't giving up on this game after you bought it. They are trying to give you an interesting emergency simulator.

What I can say is every update is making things better but this game has still a long way ahead of it. In the last year it got a lot better. You can now fight fires, save trapped people, break down doors, check on patients and treat them. They added a menu wheel to makes thing easier and it really does its job. Will things break when you play it? At the moment, sadly yes but is the game fun? For fans of fire fighting simulators a clear YES. When I get the figher fighting itch I always come back to this game.

This game is like a puppy at the moment. You can have a lot of fun with it but sometimes it poops in the corner and you get mad. With time and a lot of patience it will grow and things will get better. After a few years you may not want to give it away anymore. So for people that have patience, like fire fighting sims and want to support the developers on there big journey, consider buying the game.

For people that want to have a polished, fully functioning game, wait a few years then you may get one of the best fire fighting simulators. The forest was kinda the same, a buggy mess and only after a few years it became a good game, just saying.
