In DoW if your facing orks you'll need a few melle fellows to hold them off and numerous ranged to finish'em. give your infantry anti-tank weapons to help with the tank. if your chaos then use Horrors against the tanks, Imps use sentinels againts tanks, and SM use rockets or melta bombs.
