Though it was bought by a friend, I would (and actually have on switch) pay full price for this game without a doubt. I'd never played castlevania-type games prior to this, but it very quickly became a favorite among all the games I've ever played. The combat and gameplay is amazingly fluid and satisfying, in addition to an extreme amount of variety and depth regarding badges and builds. While not the case at the start, it's surprising how much you can eventually customize the combat to suit your preferred playstyle. It can feel somewhat unforgiving at times, but never forces the player to do one thing. The story and world is creative yet not irritatingly in your face, and there are many enjoyable characters you'll meet throughout the game. While not perfect, the love and passion put into it is glaringly obvious, and no matter what you pay for it, I guarantee it's worth it.

I overall prefer to play this game with mass amounts of friends and aquaintences as it is a large, unlimited sandbox game. The amount of possibilities of this game are endless and are great for just having fun.
