Early Access Review
If you're anything like me, then this game will tilt you hard. Most of the time, it's not even your fault. You could get unlucky and lose in the first 2 minutes of the game. You can find none of the items you need no matter where you go then get one shot by someone luckier. However, that does not mean this game is fully rng. You can always find little stuff you did wrong in each loss. This game has a surprising amount of depth once you get into it. Then, once you find a way to optimize your gameplay, you start making little adjustments to counter those unlucky moments. While you might still have bad games once in a while, your good games more than makes up for it. The community is great, the gameplay is great, the tutorial is not so great but that's not the main part of the game anyways so who cares. The game is free so what are you waiting for? Download the game and see for yourself.

Tooth and Tail, or TnT in short, is simply an RTS for people who don't have the time to play RTSs. With lightning fast matches, it's either think fast or get destroyed. Either that or trap yourself in a corner with a million defenses and wait till your resources run out, but trolling people's always fun too, right?

Moving on, I think Starcraft 2 is the game that resembles this one the closest. Both games have a large emphasis on counter building. The only difference is that in TnT, you have to choose the units that are available. Before the match begins, you are given time to pick 6 of the 20 units and buildings currently in the game. Each unit/building has its own counters, meaning you can get screwed if you don't build correctly - or you can just do what I do and spam defenses in a corner. Yes, I am that guy.

All in all, Tooth and Tail is a great game to play with friends, whether local or online (Probably the only RTS you can play with friends using controllers on the couch).
