Game is fun, but the maps are horrible. Will change review once better maps are available. It genuinely affects my enjoyment of the game.

Growing up with the original Block Fortress, and Block Fortress: War, this game finally brings the experience to PC. There are some aforementioned balance issues, and obvious metas, but I hope the developers continue to address the balance in this game.

This makes me want a Block Fortress War 2 even more.

Was able to fix the crashing issues by updating my GPU drivers for my nvidia GPU.

Now THIS is the innovation that VR needs. Interesting mechanics like shield balancing give an interesting spin on gameplay. Mod support also means that you can import ships from your favorite sci-fi franchises.

A sequel is in the works, and I am hyped to see what is to come!

Recent patch really hurt the small but growing modding community, killing much of the momentum it had. Interesting mods like a zombies mod and many maps mods are all gone now. I think this has really hurt the value proposition of this game, especially with some of the downsides it has when compared to Wargame: Red Dragon.

I've owned and played this game for the past year on the epic games store back when it was in early access and boy can I say that this game is an improvement over Sins 1. They took what worked and refined, polished, and improved it.
All on top of a brand spanking new engine. There has been a theme of recently released games all being terribly optimized or feature incomplete. This game thankfully breaks this trend. It is very well optimized, with proper multi-core usage. Even late game with a thousand ships running around, the game still runs far better than the old game. Mod support has been integrated directly in-game mod browser and installer. Mods are going to be absolutely epic.

HL1 with crafting and survival mechanics set in a black mesa like facility. Gameplay and mechanics are explained in a show not tell fashion, something modern games lack. Puzzles are satisfying, and you do feel accomplished when you solve them.

Greatly expanded over FO4's creation kit. Would love to see more documentation and tutorials by Bethesda.
