This is solid 8/10 experience that is pretty good throughout the entire experience, but there are some holdups with the end product.

Pros:
- Fun combat, incredibly flashy and stylized
- Good progression
- Environment is EXCELLENT
- Jin Sakai is an excellent character and the cast of characters you meet on the journey are also good (Yuna and Kenji are very good)
- DLC is worth the extra time combing through and adds so much to the story and Jin Sakai's story arc.

Cons:
- Story is good for the most part, a little flawed and can always tell what will happen. There are next to no surprises.
- Quest structure is nearly identical to each side quest which involved having Jin going to somewhere, investigate, then killing Mongols.
- "Investigation" is obnoxious after 10 hours of game time.
- Very checklist-esque gameplay, capture this Mongol Camp and do "x" ad nauseam.

Overall, it's a really good open world game that feels cinematic and love letter to Akira Kurosawa films. The best compliment I can give this game is that its the best Assassins Creed game to date with some of the same problems that all open world games have. Would recommend.

Also this game is not historically accurate and it's much better for that. The Mongols never invaded the island of Tsushima fully as the game portrays. The Mongols invaded Hakata Bay with Mongolian, Chinese, and Korean soldiers and skirmished for less than a month before a big storm wiped out the forces causing them to retreat.

PSN changes are limiting players who cannot access PSN, effectively locking the game they paid for because they are in countries that do not allow/have PSN. Sony must change this policy, it's anti-consumer and Arrowhead is being caught in the crossfire for bad meddling by Sony.

Excellent co-op game, changes were made to be pro-consumer once again. Bravo to those at Arrowhead for looking out for gamers who don't have access to PSN around the globe.

This is fun but frustrating experience playing on SOLO but more fun when you play CO-OP.

Story - Environmental storytelling is hit or miss depending on the map

Gunplay - Good, one of the best. The shooting is dynamic and fluid.

Difficulty - Depending on the type of enemies, fair or extremely punishing. Dying to wall bangs without being seen is very common, but there are work around's with mods.


7/10 - Decent, fun with friends.
