Have a few thousand hours across all PDX games. It's fun, but leaves some to be desired in terms of flavor, polish and the war system. Looking forward to how this game will age with some patches and DLC, but it's currently lacking compared to EU4, CK3 and other more mature PDX titles.

Good game. Best way to describe it is a combination of Battlefield, ArmA and Counter Strike. Its kind of the black hawk down game that I wanted but never got. Lots of dramatic effect, amazing firefights and satisfying mechanics. Highly recommend.

The game had a rocky start however, after 7 enourmous patches the game is starting to show how it was meant to be played. In it's current state I'd highly reccomend it. Overall it's a pretty broad improvement on Shogun 2's mechanics and if you get the Blood DLC it makes some pretty intense, dramatic effect ridden battles that you can enjoy in crisp, beautiful graphics. Pair it with a few mods and I'd give it a 8/10.
