Everyone who plays this is a level 500 sweat lord that plays literally nothing else. It's not worth it.

While this game needs a bit of work, its far better than 2042. If they really work hard on this game and get more devs, this could replace battlefield.

Now in a sense I do recommend this game but in another I don't. If you are ok with, what I would say is very beginner alpha games, then this could be a good buy for you; especially if you wanna support a very promising game. If you're more so looking for something that has a more polished alpha that obviously still needs work but isnt that bad, then I don't think you will like this game at the current moment.

Keep in mind I am not a renowned critic so take this however you want.

The optimization is unfortunately atrocious. I have a 3080, an i9-9900K, 32 GBs of ram, etc... I was getting sub 30 FPS in the "survive" situation. The controls are not bad but need improvement. Graphics are sub decent with very little customization. Gore is actually very impressive but still needs improvement. UI is a little funky but you can use it. Customization is very nice except the UI for it could be massively improved. The bugs are a little annoying but nothing too major from what I played, and I did really try to break it.

So in conclusion, this game had an insane amount of potential and I would love to see it flourish into what it could be. However, at this current moment, I cannot recommend this game. You should follow it, see how the updates are doing, and then purchase it. You could gamble and get it now for $10 but personally, I'm not going to. I will be keeping an eye on this game.

I wish this game wasn't dead... Its basically the triple A version of Verdun but no one is playing it.

I'm writing this as someone who actually really enjoys this video game and who has played with all the DLCs (in matches with friends that were wealthy enough to afford all the BS costs for the DLCs). Like I said, I love this game. The tactics and in depth mechanics are amazing. I love the adaption of the AI to be historic or non-historic, modify to what the player does, etc.

Now, what I don't like is the total rip off and spitting in the face you get after you buy this game. As I am writing this the essential DLCs cost, in total, $105 and thats after you buy the base $40+tax game. There are so many not only over priced DLCs for this game but also DLCs that should just be part of an update as you can see by the reviews written by the people who bought them. The cost and BS DLC for this game is a complete disgrace to this masterpiece of a game. The "deals" for the DLC give you NO MORE than 10% off. Thats apparently all they could spare for over $100 of DLC. Un f-ing believable.

Disclaimer : I do not condone the act of illegally downloading any type of commercially sold content from the internet. This includes games, DLC for games, movies, shows, programs, etc. Any such act should be condemned and be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Now if a dev sees this: I just want you to know that the crap you're doing is why people rip you off and download all this stuff illegally. The prices and BS you put out for this game is, as I said, disgraceful. In my opinion, given the current state of the prices and BS, you wholly deserve to be stolen from because thats exactly what you're doing to the people that buy this game. AT LEAST have sales greater than f-ing 10% off when buying $105 dollars worth of DLC. Your company is disgusting and all of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Its just so satisfying... I think $20 might be a bit steep though. I would be much more comfortable with $15 but I still bought it so idk lol

First off, I love the concept and what the devs are trying to accomplish; however, in my opinion it isn't there. The graphics are subpar, animation quality is ok at best (but then again not really), and overall mechanics are clunky.
This game has so much potential and I hope it is able to be reworked and have an overall better quality.
As of the time I'm writing this, I would not recommend you get this game. But I do think you should follow it in case any major changes happen.

(This is all my opinion. I don't really care if you think I'm wrong. If you like/wanna play/wanna buy the game, be my guest. But in my opinion, I wouldn't buy it unless its like $5... maybe less.)

Imagine if they remastered this game

This game is exactly what I expected: The best game play mechanics and handling with the worst story out of all the mafia games.

I bought this game and the 2 others in the pack. The first Mafia was absolutely stunning in both looks and story; however, the mechanics were meh but definitely playable. The second Mafia was mediocre. The graphics hardly changed, the mechanics were about the same but seemed a bit better (except that awful camera shake when running), and the story was eh but still acceptable.

Mafia 3 however, was the biggest disappointment. It looked good, played ok-ish (better than 1 and 2 but the overall mechanics aren't that great period especially when compared to Saints Row or GTA. Although it is still playable), but the story? It seems like its hardly even there. The game play is also incredibly boring. You do the same exact thing over and over again with little variation. Every other mafia had what seemed to be such a fluid continuation of the entire story while in Mafia 3 I feel like I'm running errands instead of playing a game. I'm currently deciding whether or not to uninstall it because I don't even think its worth my time to finish. They went with something new and it ruined the game.

Now, this is all my opinion. Some people may agree, some may disagree, I don't care. I thought this game looked great and that was pretty much it. Everything else was just abysmal. If you don't care about story and you're just bored and don't mind doing the exact same thing, just in different locations, over and over again, then go ahead, waste your money... But if you care about story, game play, and actually having fun while playing a game, find something else to play and spend your money on or go play the other 2 mafias because they are so much better.

In my opinion this was the best Jedi focused Star Wars game I've played. Now I'm not some big time gamer, just avg so all the oldies don't really sit well with me like old republic and what not. Now you may be asking "Why do I not recommend it then?" Well that's because it lacks so much content that when I finished the game I was actually disappointed.

I spent about 20 hours in the game kinda just having fun and then bleh. There's no real like, after game. You play it once, see the story, maybe say "oh", and then you forget about the game. Unless you want to do the same exact thing over again, but maybe a little more difficult, then you're done with the game.

For $60 I would say this game is a rip off. While insanely beautiful and well crafted it just lacks content and the combat is only pretty cool for maybe a couple hours and then it runs into being pretty much the same repeating crap. Also the dismemberment is stupid and only works on animals. Like I honestly would've had so much more fun if I could chop off some storm boi's head ya know?

Take GTA V for example. I have over 1000 hours in that game and I haven't really done that much in online, like I just hit level 100 in the last couple hours of playing. Another game is $30 Mordhau that now has mods so I can fight with lightsabers anytime I want and STILL have more customizability than Fallen Order.

I don't know... This review is kinda biased because I thought I was gonna be getting a lot more than what I got and I'm genuinely so disappointed. I paid $60 for 20 hours of lack luster content. If there is a sale for around $30 then I'd say buy it and have a bit of fun, but $60 is way too generous for this game.
