if you're looking for a horror game, like myself, then do not get this game. if you're looking for a puzzle game then this game is (maybe) for you

The first encounter with the lifeforms is actually kinda scary until you realise they can be outran very easily. The only entity that's hard to deal with are the smilers who can appear around corners that you cannot see until you've already walked into them and died instantly with zero indication that they're there. These seemingly undeserved deaths only add onto the frustration of the abstract puzzles that you need to travel across the infinite backrooms to get to. It's fun when you play with friends for a while but I cant imagine playing multiplayer for an extended period of time. It seems like the 2 major Backrooms games so far have missed the horror aspect and instead became tedious puzzle games with little incentive to play for longer than 30 minutes. The Backrooms have a lot of potential as there is an infinite amount of things you can do with the concept but it seems like it's going down the same rabbit hole that SCP games did.
