Let's get this out of the way: yes, this game is visually similar to the "classic" Build Engine game Witchaven and its sequel Witchaven II: Blood Vengeance. That being said, it does this game a real disservice to say that it is "like" those two games. Its not. This game is fun, those games are trash fires that the pinnacle of entertainment software inflicted upon the world. Arthurian Legends is a first person hack and slash with a lot of great references to classic fantasy, Monty Python, and old stop-motion films. While the game certainly has some low budget quirks, it is absolutely worth your time. The level design is great, with a lot of varied environments and, in true boomer shooter fashion, secrets galore. This gets an enthusiastic recommend from me. If you like this kind of game you will absolutely enjoy Arthurian Legends.
