Here's a few opinions of someone that bought the game Day 1 but is waiting for the game to leave it's early access to come back to.

> Graphics are way more beautiful than The Forest, it's a decent upgrade.
> Gameplay itself is more diverse specially when it comes to using different weapons. You can now use more ranged weapons besides the bow.
> Building on this game is tedious but it does allow you to personalize to a nail everything in your house including using stone as a building material. I just wish you could also choose to build a full wall instead of doing it step by step by step... etc.
> The new followers! It's a great addition, Kelvin adds an interesting help for those who play solo without making it too OP and Virginia adds an interesting point of view to the history that wouldn't exist without her. She also fights and uses cute dresses! Who in the world did we find a three legged suit?!
> Ways of transport! Having one is good enough but it could be less buggy. You bump a tiny rock and are yeet all across river.
> The story is up to you to find and combine. As the old fashion Forest.
> Price is fair but if you never played The Forest or are unsure, wait for a better deal. I believe it's quite a niche to enjoy this game.

Overall, I'd recommend and rate it a 7/10 for now. I'll update it after 22/02/2024 when the final version arrives.

☑ Nicest indie game. The combat feels a bit clunky and repetitive but does offer some challenges are forces you to relly on your audio for guidance instead of being purely eye-coordination. It's a fantastic game that makes you doubt even your own mind. I can't wait for the sequel to release.

TLDR: Overall good but lacks content

The first impression was actually a pretty good one, you're put in a world which you're made to fight bad robots, escape the eruptions and try to stop the lava that's hunting your world. I never played it in single-player so my experience is with co-op.
We had plenty of fun and I must say it was quite addictive for the whole playtrough - sometimes it felt a bit repetitive but with someone else playing with you and messing around we did managed to overcome it but also we only have 14ish hours of gameplay and was enough to finish the game... the cons are, for a 20ish euros game less than 15h of gameplay with little to no end game content besides tearing down some mechanical arms it's really a bummer.

The cons are exactly that, it lacks tons of content and we had to add mods to make it more interesting. But it's also understandable taking in mind it's such a small team developing the game. Also, the areas are basically the same as others with a little more enemies which they end up feeling like an hassle instead of a challenge, they're just boring plain same-looking bots with different guns who come at you way too many at the time and you just spend more time fixing what they broke.

But, overall, it was a fun game, I just wish it had more to do and explore.
