I'd recommend it, but only for fans of the series. As others have pointed out, you really don't decide anything in the game. There are major choices that have small effects, but your smaller choices are ignored even by the game itself (i.e you can choose to maim a character instead of stabbing them in the chest, but in the flashback sequence for the following episode it ignores this and shows you stabbing them).

UPDATE: As of Episode 6 I really can't recommend this to anyone. I have no plans to buy season 2.
