Fantastic

Seriously, this game is fantastic. I had a few friends tell me to play this game and blew it off since I'm not really into anime or visual novels, but man am I glad I played this game.

Do yourself a favor and go in blind, you won't regret it. I wish I could play this game again blind.

Great top down strategy game that has ENDLESS replayability. Great difficulty out of the box but even better with some mods on top. Solider customization is amazing as well, quite improved from EU/EW. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of top down strategy games.

Destiny is an interesting game that had a bit of an identity crisis.

When D2 was first released it came from Activision who wanted to push the game into as many people's hands as possible as generic looter shooting with a campaign and some side missions. This, as history has told, was not well received.

When Bungie split with Activision, they let the community know that they were committed to pushing this game into a more "mmo" direction. They definitely succeeded in doing that from a core gameplay loop, but there is something that makes Destiny more unique than just an mmo, which are the raids and dungeons, and the difficulty that comes with those.

I can confidently say that there are no other experiences like the raids in this game. A relativity difficult activity with involved mechanics that _you_ have to figure out. There are no directions, no "go here" marker, no "step on this plate to open the door". You are left to fill in the details yourself. This is where the game shines, instead of treating you like a child and pulling you through the game, it presents a real challenge to overcome.

Recently Bungie has started to embrace this as well by adding more difficulty levels to strikes and more low-player/solo dungeons, which are like a mini-raid. It requires you to tune your loadout, come up with a strategy, and rely on your team. Things like this are aspects I have never found in another FPS.

Give it a shot. It's free now, anyway.

I bought this game for $20, and I have easily gotten over $100 worth of time out of this game.

Its addicting, I never would have expected to have played as much as I did.

The port is really well done, to date the best I have seen yet.

This game is the best game I have ever played but, if you want more of a challenge, go download the mod to this called Open Hexagon. It has better controls, more levels, and the ablillity to download levels.

Amazing dungeon crawler style game, with endless replayabliliby. But when you get tired of it you can turn to the forums and get a couple of mods to make it even better!

By far, the best military game I have ever played, onlt parallel with ARMA III. SO much to do in this game, and its not all the same any of those times. One moment you are commanding and entire army, the next you are on a hill in the dead of night wait to snipe a target, and the next you are crashing planes into your friends at the Armory. A must buy for anyone who is a fan of these games.
