Anyway, your quitting reminds me a guy when I was playing WoW several years ago. He was one of the best PvP mage in the game, and he made a goodbye PvP movie as well. One of the purpose of that movie was to reach some people who might get lost in the game.
And here is a paragraph from his movie summary which I think that it's very meaningful:
"Life is easy with eyes closed. Do not hide behind you computer, do not waste a huge amount of time in a non existing world. Enjoy playing World of Warcraft – it’s a fantastic game but please! Enjoy playing it in moderation. There are more important things to care about than getting better gear or being ultraninjahighskilled."
So, I am actually glad that you have finally found out what is more important to you. Good luck in your real life, work hard on it and don't give up easily.
