Major order complete and the game is still fun as hell. Well worth full price.

Overall it's a good time. Game has a steep learning curve. Be patient if you're new and getting slaughtered. Very satisfying once you've gotten the hang of it.

Pros:
- Flexible character creation system for various play styles and extensive cosmetic customisation
- Solid graphics for the time of release. Solid sound design.
- Melee mechanics are tight and responsive. It is easy to grasp but hard to master.
- Character emotes and voice lines give the game a very unique and quirky personality
- Easy to party up and play with friends in a group

Cons:
- Steep learning curve
- Lots of ♥♥♥♥ talking (could be a pro if you enjoy ♥♥♥♥ posting however)
- Slow output of content updates from developers
- Limited number of maps and game modes
- Limited player base when the game is not on sale depending on region
- Unfortunately lacks an auto balance system by rank/play time in team game modes

One last note for new players that may not be having a great time. It is reasonably possible to get hang of everything with more play time. There are also community guides available that can be very helpful, duel servers are great for practising the melee mechanics with a friendly opponent who won't just rush and staunch you with morphs and chambers. The team game modes invasion and frontline are the easiest to get into because you can always stick with team mates (strength in numbers). Finally there are certain weapons/play styles that may be easier to get the hang of than others, you could always chill as an archer or equip a spear or halberd for a long reach advantage.

Don't believe the negative reviews of salty haters even though most of them do have valid points. This game is more fun than it is not. It's worth a buy, particularly when on sale.
