I had to for Arc Raiders.

This game is what I have been waiting to play for 25 years.

It's NOT about the loot.
It's NOT about the gameplay.
It's NOT about the power fantasy.
It's NOT about the 'friends' you make along the way.

It IS about the sheer ADVENTURE you have.
That is all gaming has been, and should be about.

The simple fact that I never know what is going to happen in a match makes me excited for the next one, regardless of the outcomes. Forget all the bs and just have fun with the game, the world, the lore, and the genuine interactions between players with the best proxy voice system and spatial audio design.

The AI are the most oppressive enemies that I've ever had the pleasure of facing. Never have I had to change my tactics so frequently when fighting various ARC. Player fights are almost always the same, but the ARC is where this game truly shines- and I don't care what anyone says- They. Are. Learning.

Also - I am a friendly raider that makes a habit of never firing on other raiders. In time I will become a Hawk and hunt Rats, but currently, when playing 100% peaceful mode, I see 'shoot-on-sight' raiders in 1 out of 10 matches. Just use your mic- don't use in game AI voice changer (people don't trust those voices), or use in game voice ques.

If you shoot players, you end up in pvp lobbies, and that's where the real hell begins.

It's really a game that molds around the players habits and styles and still manages to keep everything exciting and adventurous. Truly, Arc Raiders is a unique experience that I have never seen in my entire gaming lifetime- and I started with an Atari.

Arc Raiders will evolve into something truly special- more than it is currently.
If you love gaming at all, you NEED to experience Arc Raiders.
