i'm sad it's over, it was a ton of fun and i loved the humour

the gameplay was very janky and broken but i did my best to ignore it because the characters were genuinely likeable and funny and idk it was just very good

i'd played the original cloé's requiem pretty much just before this came out, so i was very familiar with the game and was very eager to check this out, it did not disappoint at all!

at the time of its release, the english translation had a few errors, but since then it's been consistently improved and i seriously think this is the definitive way to experience cloé's. it's such a sensitive and sad tale of childhood trauma, grief, and love, all through the lens of classical music and almost a fairy-tale-like setting. the characters are all full of depth and never feel one sided.

i'm yet to play con amore but i'm very glad it's included in this remake as prior to this game's release it hadn't been translated into english yet.

this is definitely the most unique rpg maker game i've played and i absolutely love the art direction and visuals, this game is so stunning. i've had a lot of fun with it, i'm not quite done with it yet but i'm very close to finishing it and i'm very excited to see how it ends!

the english translation unfortunately has a few errors but i was fine with overlooking that, i did have to use a walkthrough a couple times as it is very challenging and i kinda suck at puzzles. the puzzles are pretty complex but i can see where the hints lied once i'd seen the solution.

there are a few bugs that caused me to have to reload the game unfortunately, but i had enough patience to work around it. i think i do have a bias towards this game because the visuals are really beautiful and remind me of games such as sanitarium and clock tower. overall it's very cute and if you have the patience to try and figure out the puzzles and work around some of the bugs then i highly recommend it!

a very chilling cute little game with a lot going for it, it's fairly short in length but has enough replayablility with little extras that appear once you've completed the game at least once

such a lovely remake, the sprite work is so cute and i loved the doll making bonus you get once you complete the game - you have the choice to play the original too which is very nice to have that available for anyone who's particularly nostalgic towards the original!

a very provocative and haunting story, it's simple enough to understand to a basic degree while also having a lot that will keep you thinking about it even after you've played it, very beautiful

it's camp and a ton of lighthearted fun, would definitely recommend playing with a friend too

it kinda feels like a parody of silent hill which i didn't mind too much, it's just a very strange game that's unfortunately ridden with a lot of issues
