Apparently playground games is so busy developing their newest game in the franchise that microsoft had to actually outsource the steam port of FH4 to someone completely not capable of doing such things: Sumo Nottingham

You'd think it's just a simple client swap, yet these people menaged to screw up the whole performance of the game.

While the windows store version has ZERO issues with performance or stability, the steam version is a crashing and stuttering mess. I've followed this version for a while, seen many patches deployed throughout the months since release yet clearly no progress has been made into improving that. Even buying this on sale feels like a scam.

If somehow this studio is involved in porting Forza Horizon 5 to steam, please respect your money and do not support disgusting work like this.

no issue here with crashes, except the game doesn't like my graphics card overclock (even at stock no stutters and crashes)

its does microstutter when i crash into cars etc...regardless of low, high, ultra settings.....must be a bad port....its definitely noticeable each time ...i do get 50-60 on high but the microstutter makes it annoying......

Windows store version runs flawlessly. Steam version resulted in force feedback not working for g29, and a stutter-fest left and right.

Don't know what's wrong with this version, but something is up.

4GB RAM is not realistic in 2021.

4GB wasnt even realistic 5 years ago for most AAA games.

16+ has been the standard for awhile now.

the stutter is unbelievable, even on extremely low settings, wif windowed enabled. just letting ya know i'm running 4 GIGS ram with this, runs smoothly but stutters horribly at random times
