In short, it is good if you focus on one deck and learn how to get gold. The MTX aren't that p2w if you know what you are doing on building a competitive deck. But, the amount of players with top tier decks in the middle of middle-tier competitive format is a bit annoying. I wish matchmaking had some sort of deck rating too.
If you don't know what you are doing, it won't be fun.

This was my old review, and yet I recommended Depth for some friends because it was unique.

Now they just announced that it's entering life support mode with no Major Content Updates, meaning that aforementioned fixes are never going to happen...

So yea, get it on sale and have a bit if fun, or not. Who cares? The devs not, at this point.

You know what I hate about fads? Is that once they fade away, you realize how bad they were. Same goes for this game. I just regret buying it. There are better things in the category.

While this game did get me distracted for a while, I can get it freely on my mobile, with the same issues, though. Sometimes controls aren't really responsive, and the new levels became such a visual pollution that you can't really know where you are going to land compared to older maps, and then die a lot with it.
At first I thought this game was mostly about paying attention and then reacting accordingly, but I noticed that it was more about memorizing maps. Well, it's hard to memorize a map when you can't figure background from actual floors! The older levels are OK, with some issues as mentioned. The new levels stink. Play it on the mobile.

A friend of mine didn't know about the differences with buying ingame content from Starter do Standard Edition, and gave me the Starter Edition one. Now that I know of this, I would like to know how I could get the Standard one, if if that means something like erasing all account progression or whatever, and paying the rest of the amount from one edition to another. I just don't want to sink 30 hours for ONE operator (100 renown a defeat, 200 a victory), when from 500/1k renown, an operator costs 12,5k and 25k! THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS. This is almost like a freemium game, that wasn't free for starters!

I was going to do a poorly drawn 10/10 with a <3 in it, but since I can't do that on steam reviews I'll just keep it short.
10/10 <3 Amazing co-op survival game, or even solo!

Game feels like crap, and everyone moved onto something better, and so should you. It's gladly dead.

If you want a rather shallow, but not too bad game to play with your friends (specially a sale), this game might be good for you.

For me what attracked me most was the "Souls-like" appeal it had, which was very little. Only the above the average difficulty, and the stamina. There were no backstabs, no parries, and I was forced to always using the charging attack when surounded because the combat has few movesets. I played the game for about 4hrs, got into the third level (you progress going down the levels, while solving the randomly generated dungeons) and still didn't find a boss. It took just too much time and effort to become interesting for a Souls fan like myself.

AGAIN, if you are into a rather casual and is NOT looking for something very deep, this game might be for you. I didn't find any bug or issue while playing, in contrast to lots of people complaining about on other reviews. My gameplay was smooth. It is just the combat that didn't do the job for me.

Do you like the style of Mount and Blade? And War of The Roses?

This is basically a Chinese version of it, but the animations so far are kinda clunky, the bodies of people clipping through others is kinda lame, specially when an enemy simply passes through you and hits you even though you had your shield up. It takes a boring while to get into fights with a decent amount of people, the menus are still a bunch of visual pollution. The overall idea is interesting, a progressive-like game inspired by Mount and Blade. But I couldn't stand the first hour because of the amount of confusion and clunkyness. I just didn't see any point in insisting playing.

I guess I will reinstall this game in the next 2 years and see what happened.

I didn't start this game in its early stages so I can't tell about how the game grew (although you will notice that there is quite a lot of comments talking about this).

I'd give gameplay about 8/10. Right now, I'm enjoying the game pretty much, but that's because I don't care about spending a lot of time building stuff rather than go immediatelly exploring, such part, although abundant, has its limit right now. The combat is not bad. There are some glitches, yes, however with "normal" gameplay I haven't found anything gamebreaking.

Graphics I'd give about 7-8/10. It looks good. Graphic tweaking is kind of limited at the moment, as it seems that there is no file to change things by yourself. I have a fairly new rig that runs the game just fine, and a very old notebook that actually plays this (not recommended tho).

Sound effects is nice, and there is a small cassette player you find along with some tapes scattered around with some sweet indie-like rock soundtrack. I'll give it 10.

Overall for an Early Access this game looks promising. I know that there some LOTS OF stories of games that had a lot of potential and are now dead, but this game is one I like to believe that will survive and eventually become a very famous one. Specially because it is looking pretty solid and quite affordable. Survival is also a trend in this decade so I think that this game has everything to become a great one. Probably one of the best gifts I ever got from a friend, I even intend to buy a copy for my wife to play with me! (Personal cry: I'll have to wait for a sale though, as the currency is my country is ludicrously inflated)
