** Steam Deck quick resume issue solution **

I'm enjoying the game, despite it being shonky in places. The main complaint for me was the freezing when you try to quick resume on Steam Deck - but I've just discovered a workaround I thought I would share.

Basically, if you hit the Steam hardware button to bring up the Steam menu overlay, *then* hit the power button to suspend, you'll be able to resume the game later without having to quit and restart.

So picking up and playing for a few minutes here and there is now possible. Hope this helps others with the same issue.

I've been very much enjoying this - jump on it if you like Slay The Spire but find it doesn't have enough slamming people's heads into walls.

I am biased, but this is brilliant.

Game will only allow you to resume from a previously saved game if you are online, despite the fact files are stored locally. It's a known issue according to tech support - yet one which has remained unresolved since October.

Avoid.
