In short it´s simplicity and yet good character, item and upgrade design surprised me positively. You can sink in multiple hours without a problem of it getting boring. So if you need to take your mind of somthing or need to kill some time while your doing some mundane stuff I would highly recommend that game.

For all the guys that want a detailed break down of the game here it comes:

Gameplay 5/5
The gameplay loop is addicting, fun and challenging. You start on each map with a level 1 character where you just kill wave after wave of enemies, collect crystals from fallen enemies and upgrade your character with it. Each upgrade gives you an option to get an additional weapon (up to 6 max.), passive item (up to 6 max.) or an upgrade for them. After you upgraded your weapons and passive items fully you can only choose between health items or gold coins.

Gold coins can only be obtained through destroyable items on the map, chests or after you reached max. item level like I mentioned above and can only be used to buy upgrades for the power up system or one of the bonus maps. Chests can only drop from bosses each chest gives you a randomised item or gold depending of your current items and item level. At the end of each map (after enough time has passed / killed enough enemies) you will face of against the reaper a deadly boss that will one hit you if your not prepared.

Price 5/5
One thing is certain you get alot of bang for your buck.

Progression 5/5
You start with only one character and gradually unlock more, in total up to 40 characters. You can either unlock them via gold your acquire through playing the game or through secret challenges for the game. On top of that you can unlock and play with 62 different weapons (32 base, 20 evolution, 3 union, 2 gift, 5 counterpart and 9 special) and dont forget the 21 unlockable passive items (17 normal and 4 special) each of them with different attacks or abilities.

Furthermore you can unlock and choose between 11 maps (5 stage maps, 2 bonus maps, 1 secret map and 3 challenge maps) in total with each of the maps allowing you to add 3 different modifiers (Hyper, Hurry and Arcanas). There is even a power up system for your characters where you can choose between 20 different upgrades reaching from bonus damage to an additional revive. If that´s not enough for you, you can kill over 105 different enemy typs which you can collect and look up in the bestiary. Last but not least the achievements in total you can unlock 142 of them ranging from finding different items in game to reaching a certain level on a map.

Variety / Replayability 4.5/5
I mentioned a lot of the different options in the last chapter. So to sum it all up you can unlock and play with up to 40 characters, unlock and play with 62 different weapons, unlock and play with 21 passive items, unlock and choose between 11 maps, choose between 20 different upgrades in the power up system and you can kill over 105 different enemie typs. So actually a lot to choose from in my opinion the only thing that is missing is a bigger base map pool, maybe two more maps that would do the trick for me.

Music 3/5
The music is good but not my type it is a bit to arcady for me but for the most part I enjoyed it found even one or to banger songs in the game (for example "Reincarnated Echoes")

Graphics 2/5
Just plain and simple 2D textures with a beautiful art design. Not bad not good but with a lot of variety of models/textures.

Complexity 2/5
The Game has a lot of mechanics that are easy to understand and not very deep. So if you want to hardcore min./max. a character like in a CRPG or in a MMO with a complex progression path behind it than that is not the game for you.
