Ori And The Blind Forest is a gorgeous looking game with amazing music, simple story with some smart parallels between characters, and very good gameplay.

The game *is* challenging, in my opinion in a good way. Most of the time your deaths will be deserved - Ori is agile, fast and responds perfectly to your every command.

You will die often because you were way too careless with your health, or you wanted to play it way too safe, losing windows of opportunity and falling into traps as a result. I rarely felt frustrated; most of the time I was like "Dang, let's try this again!", with a big smile and a hint of determination on my face. And when I successfully finished the famous escape sequences - which are substitutes for traditional boss fights - my satisfaction meter went well beyond the scale.

The map is filled with secrets and power-ups and locations have just the right size, so they never overstay their welcome, making you feel tired as a result. It encourages exploration, returning to previously visited locations after learning new abilities in order to reach new locations and find more goodies to help you with your journey.
