- Has Tag Teams and Team Fights, which DoA 6 lost.
- Holds up well graphically.

It's a fair offering, since you can access all of the modes for free, and then only buy the characters you want. Except Story, but you can watch it online. If you do decide you want more (or all) of the base fighters, the Full Game unlock is worth the price.

I'm a simple man. I see "craft item", I uninstall.

If I wanted to do labor work, I'd go and do it in real life. Games need to stop trying to simulate IRL activities. Crafting is a filler mechanic meant to obscure lack of new and compelling gameplay. You doing it in a "Lovecraftian" universe is not novelty. It's the predictable, unavoidable fate of every genre which ideas' have been completely exhausted to eventually land on eldritch themes, because they've done everything else.

It happened to shooters, it happened to VNs, it happened to FPS RPGs, it happened to soulslikes, now it's the base-building-crafting-survival genre's turn to copy it.

There is hope for it, because of the game director's pedigree, he can deliver a proper game (Persona 2). I might come back to check it out on release, assuming it's next year and not in 2025, since it needs far more time in the oven.

- Controls are floaty, the option to disable Y-axis invert in the menu did nothing until the game was restarted. A thing as simple as hitting enemies in the overworld to initiate combat is a struggle.

- Technically terrible. Animations are stiff, the environments are ugly and lack detail. Post-processing effects are headache inducing.

- Poorly designed. Characters are completely unappealing, their outfits are bland. The world doesn't look interesting. It's below mobile game-tier.

- Combat lacks a punch, mainly due to poor visual design. Hard to get into it, since your attacks are presented by overly simple animations and effects.

- I like the music however these are leftover samples from Meguro's Persona 5 soundtrack. P3, P4 and P5 OSTs were very distinct from each other despite all being his work, because they never overlapped thematically outside of few purposefully returning themes (e.g. Poem). This one is derivative.

Clunky and sluggish controls, buggy audio, stuttery performance.
More of a late alpha version. Not ready for release.

Edit: Also just realized it has a kernel level anti-cheat software. Would not have installed at all if I noticed that beforehand.

A well made and perfectly fitting soundtrack. I highly recommend it. It sold me on a game I otherwise had little interest in. The gameplay is good, but the music enhances the entire experience tenfold.

Bought it just to support the developer. There's a lot of value here, even for full price. The fighters in this game might seem small on screen but have unique moves, combos, and mouth-watering animations. Hazama is no exception.

I have no attachment to the character, and would rather have a pretty girl instead, but fans of the franchise seem to be happy, so I'm happy too.

No regrets.

Took him for a spin and he seemed cool enough. Will get around to testing him further at some point, once I exhaust the base content.

Checked it out when sailing the high seas out of pure curiosity as to why BlazBlue is a roguelike platformer, not expecting to be into it all.

But the game made such a fantastic first impression, and was so cool, especially with its great soundtrack, that I figured the devs deserve proper support, and bought the game with all DLCs as soon as I could.

Most games these days are not worth pirating, let alone buying, but this one is unique, and I'd like to see its ideas and mechanics fleshed out in future patches or sequels.

Note to the developer:
Make more pretty girl character DLCs. I will insta-buy all of them.

Runs at 50-90 FPS on a PC that runs similar games at 150-200 FPS at High/Ultra. Settings at Medium and Balanced DLSS doesn't solve it either. Arenas aren't that big, or effects that impressive, to warrant this kind of requirements. It needs more work.
