Hope Lake is, in my opinion, a very well designed hidden object game.
The amazing artwork and the good OST, combined with an interesting story make this game very atmospheric.
The story itself is pretty lengthy (around 6h).
In general, it should be noted, stunning artwork, which very aptly emphasizes the storyline.
Abandoned school, the disappearance girls, mystery's, puzzles - through all of this you have to go to solve the mystery of the Hope Lake.
So, i can't say that the Hope Lake is No1, but this Game is should be in Top HOPa genre, in my opinion.
Cons - only one soundtrack.

Point of this game is a mixing of fluids.
In total, you must right mix the fluids and move them to the exit.
Game has realistic physics of fluids (I think).
At first, the game seems boring, but after first location begin more complex puzzles and obstacles.
A lot of moving obstacles appears after the second location.
The game has a little content, so the game can be relate, to "time killer" genre.

The title of this game speaks for itself.
Briefly, this is a relatively short Christmas Story. (I passed this game in 3 hours without using tips).
This game is imbued with the Christmas Spirit.
Candy, snowman, Christmas trees ... it's all there in abundance.

If you are looking for the game graphics, action and simplicity, then don`t buy, because this game
is definitely not for you. Here it`s necessary to think. And you have to think a lot. The game is really very,very difficult.

Pros:
Extremely hard puzzle set;
puzzles of varying difficulty;
long gameplay

Cons:
graphics – for mobile phones;
you can't kill anyone.

Conclusion.
If you love chess, math, logic, like to think – this game for ya.
If not, then better don't buy it, because you may end up on the first puzzle.

Some kinds of puzzles I can`t pass in principle.
The entering puzzle which solves 1 out of 10 as stated by developer. I don`t know for sure (will see on
the achievements stats), but I spent about 15 minutes for solving it and 10 of them I tried to understanddependence of the color changes when clicks on this or other square. By the way, my wife couldn’t solve
it)))

Generally, I've seen about 15 kinds of puzzles. Puzzles description I will give below.

Puzzles (sorted by my preference):
-Chess puzzle. Various tasks with chess pieces. Solved 5 pieces. How much whole is unknown.
. Difficulty - impossible.
-Honeycombs and Balls and (in the achievement is Hex and Infection). Two different puzzles, but the
mechanics are similar. Difficulty – average.
-Battleship, battleship and Minesweeper (two different puzzles). It is necessary to place the ships on thebattlefield. Difficulty - high.
- Chinese checkers. You need to remove all the checkers from the Board. Difficulty - average.
- Ordinary checkers. Usually you need to change the white/black checkers for a limited number of
moves. Difficulty - high.
- Coins. I've seen two types of puzzles. Pick up the last coin and flip all the coins. Difficulty - high.
- Billiards. Need to drive the ball in the right pocket.
- Puzzles with pictures (similar to first). Everyone besides the first I skipped. Difficulty - impossible!
- 15 puzzle. Difficulty - high.
- The game is similar to 15 puzzle. Mechanics like 15 puzzle. Difficulty – high
- The Rubik's cube. Difficulty - impossible. Could not solve any one, all skipped.
- Packer (judging by the name this is what you need) something like Tetris. Need to pack all of the
shapes in the playing field. Difficulty - impossible!

I've seen not all the puzzles if to believe to the list of achievements.

Хоть и не люблю платформеры, но этот оказался неплох.
Приятная графика.
Интуитивно понятное и удобное управление.
Ну и интересен сам концепт.

Интересная реализация жанра "побег из комнаты". Долго разбирался с радио, но потом когда сообразил, что в комнате есть подсказки, то стало немного попроще. Впечатлила шахматная партия. Первый раз в играх встретил "шахматный пазл", что не может не радовать. Графика - по крайней мере на моем девайсе смотрелась неплохо. В общем, хорошая игра как для глаза, так и для мозга.

Игра оказалась интереснее, чем предполагал. Хотя и не люблю Злых Птиц.
Если продолжить аналогию автора, из статьи на Хабре, то тут ещё большой вопрос, кто чей клон.
Учитывая рабочую версию на 2013 год, то таки похоже, что ребята из Rovio клонировали систему спеллов и ответных ударов, потому кто чей клон, уже и не понять. Интересно, как такое возможно, при одновременном релизе двух игр.
Ну и лично для меня - этот Клон выглядит как-то более взрослее, что ли.
