Yes! You read that correct! Dr. Yeti IS hosting a tournament featuring 4 rounds on his new course, "The Happy Yeti Golf Resort"

This will be for the game "The Golf Club"

The tournament will feature the following order of courses.

Day 1. The Happy Yeti Invitational Day 1 (firm/fast conditions)
Day 2. The Happy Yeti Invitational Day 2 (firm/fast conditions, overcast weather)
Day 3. The Happy Yeti Invitational Day 3 (rainy weather, slow/soft conditions, adjust your game!)

I had a busy October, and was really hoping to post a few of my funky collection that fits the "Halloween" theme. I did get around to putting up a new video of a song titled Haunted House . The artists name is Lee Oskar . If you have ever bene in the harmonica market, you may have seen a "Lee Oskar" Harmonica. This is a funky little tune that has heavy harmonica sound over some great drum and bass, with a solid purcussion backing. Enjoy!

Happy Friday!!! In celebration of having only a few days left until the big giveaway I have decided to post one song a day with a great big, very exciting (in booming voice) MUSICAL COUNTDOWN-Down-down-dwn-dn

The countdown will be based around one of my favorite jazz musicians/composers. Bob James is a musical marvel, weaving heavy jazz sounds, very funky rhythms and classical orchestration smoothly into his style of music. Sometimes I can't describe the kind of music this is. I would dare say that alot of his music isn't really a 'song' but more of an orchestration or classical composition. He definetely has a unique sound that is all his own. I hope you enjoy it.

I am going to post 1 song from each of his first four albums, starting with Four.

Gone for 3 weeks and this cave is a mess! But, I got around to posting tunes! -Sep. 4

I have been out of town for the past 3 weeks on business, so you may have noticed things slowed down a bit! But alas! Here is some great jazz music from 1974. Jimmy Ponder has a great and unique sound to his guitar playing, heavy "Wes Montgomery" influence. This song "I Who Have Nothing" is a cover of the all time classic hit by "Tom Jones" This cover is one of my favorite instrumental songs of all time!

The drums, guitar and bass all come together nicely with some of the smoothest electric piano playing at the later parts of the tune. Be sure to give it a listen and let me know what you think in the comments (you may win something?).

A double dose of some rare Reggae/Soul. -Jackie Mittoo- - - Aug. 19

Jackie Mittoo is one of my favorite reggae artists. He was a true revolutionary to the genre. He is primarily known for being one of the founding members of The Skatalites . However, his contribution to reggae goes all the way back to when he was the musical director for the legendary Studio One record label . Most popular rythyms that came from Studio One during the 60's and 70's are Jackie's.

Since I was gone last week, I have put up two of his songs, one is a little more funky than you would picture from a Jamaican reggae artist, called "Wintergreen" . The other is a very soulful R&B sounding tune called "Love Life" .
